I didn't know that rule had been removed. Though with TF2 still in this week I kinda assumed the rule had disappeared.

Unfortunately one of my favorite shows comes on at the same time so I usually watch it unless it's a repeat(hence why I'm, sadly, rarely at events nowadays).

Just cross-posting this as it were, but there's a COD sale going on this weekend on Steam. See my other post for more info.

If we get enough COD4 players, I wouldn't mind having COD4 for a game of the week sometime, especially since it's finally hit my price point for buying a four year old game (well, when it's on sale..

Just out of curiosity, what happens if there is a tie in the votes (i.e. TF2 gets 5 votes, CS:S gets 5, and HL2:DM gets 4 or less)?

Until people leave.

Usually around 1-2 hours. 2 hours is about the max. You can leave anytime you like, though. At least I'm pretty sure you can. Can you?

Yep, leave whenever you want. Generally the people who plan on being there will show up within 5 minutes of the event starting, and it'll generally last for an hour with most people there, and occasionally enough people will remain on the server for decent gaming experiences after one hour. On really good weeks, it's possible for the event to continue quite solidly for 1.5-2 hours.

I've been saying this for decades, even when I was born. No one listened, though. You'd think a baby's first words of "Tim HAXXXXXX!!!" would go noticed, but apparently not.
