What do you think is the most useful skill? I think Summoning is the most useful skill because it has a monster for, i believe, every skill in the game. It also has the unicorn which is absolutely amazing. Since it has so many different uses I don't seem to see any other skill close to that. The closest thing that I think is as useful as summoning would have to be slayer. What do you think?

well i guess that's true but what i forgot to say is attack strength defense magic and ranged shouldn't count because they are obviously the most important skills because they give you comabat levels and everyone trains combat except for pures but they don't count (no offense to any pures out there).

Health- keeps you alive
Summoning- helps most skills
Cooking- gives hp raising food
herblore- boosts skills

A few of the most important skills, not really sure what are the most important.

Health- obvious reasons
summoning - helps a ton for every skill
defense- usefull for every single combat skill in the game
agility - although I never really liked this skill with a high agility lvl u can run for long periods of time

these r prob the most useful/helpful skills

From a non-member stand point, I would say smithing if you have the levels. You could make your own armor or sell it if you wanted to. Pretty cool if you ask me, and very useful. 8)

I think the most useful skill has to be slayer becuase it is always training at least three skills at once. Hitpoints, combat skill of your choice, and then of course slayer. If you want to be super awesome and train 6 skill at once you put the whip at controlled and bury all bones. :P

Not to mention you get monies for other skills.

I think it depends on what you're doing.

Combat:
Health - Staying alive
Prayer - Longer boosts

Skilling:
Summoning - Special perks for most skills
Runecrafting - Moneymaking

RC is just my opinion and my moneymaker of choice.

For poor F2P players, I think mining andxsmithing are the most useful, once you get a past a certain level.

Magic is the most versatile skill I think. Besides the obvious uses in combat and for teleporting, it works well with other skills. There are a lot of great skiller spells such as Plank Make for construction, Humidify for herblore, Superglass Make for crafting, Superheat for smithing, just to name a few.

I'd also put Summoning as a very useful skill. The stat boosts and special moves of summoned creatures is great. They can help in combat and with skilling.

There's so many skills that are necessary, but I'm going with fishing as it's easy to get back on your feet if you died or got hacked or just blew all your money on an expensive skill (guilty), either barbarian fishing or just kill a goblin or something for some coins for a harpoon/lobster pot.
