I may have begged a little at the start, but once I was on my feet, I never had any need. I found often that if I just went on playing the game and talked to people in game a lot, they would just give me help, even if I didn't ask. That being said, I think it depends. If I am in the GE and people are begging I completely ignore them. I kind of think of them like real life beggars in New York City, who make on average $40k a year (no joke). I figure these players get some money sometimes and that is enough. I also tell them that the time they are going around begging from other people could be spent making money through various skills or combat. Ironic

. Anyways, that's my opinion on it. Ignore them, but if I come across a noob on Runescape and feel the urge to help them, I would do it, especially if they didn't beg. I feel much more comfortable helping people who have played a little and don't ask for help than helping people who just go around asking for money rather than playing the game.
