99 Firemaking

I want to get 99 firemaking byt the end of the year. Anyone who has 99 firemaking, how long did it take you?

You should get a 99 skill in a skill you really love to do, surely you can't like firemaking that much. And if you just want a 99 skill because it's easy, then surely you can find a skill with less clicking.. try cooking.

I have voted yes.

Reason being is that 99 Firemaking is a cheap 99, only costs about 5M from level 45, which is about 97K Maples, and takes roughly a month depending on the speed you play or how much free-time you have in your life to burn-a-log. So if your overall goal is to get max total level then you'd eventually have to come back to this stat.

Yes, why wouldn't you want to get a 99 skill that you want to get? I don't think 99fm will take 10 months to get, if you play atleast 2 hours a day.

I voted 'yes' as well. I am planning on getting 99 firemaking some time and I think it's a good skill for it (if you have the resources and time, of course). It's up to you, but my guess it would take you around six months at most. Probably way less than that depending on the time and energy put into it.
