We have temporarily closed the entrances to the Bounty Hunter craters while we fix a few problems with it. Broadly speaking, we are looking to fix the following issues:

* The level-matching system wasn’t working at all well, with players often ending up in unfair battles they were unlikely to win.
* With the launch of PvP worlds, Bounty Hunter suddenly became less populated, which meant the bounty mechanic stopped working properly. We still love the idea of a bounty mechanic with players being given targets, but we think it can be done so much better, especially given what we have now learnt from PvP worlds.
* Real-world trading was occurring at quieter times of the day.

Don’t worry, Bounty Hunter isn’t disappearing forever - we’re just disabling it while we fix the problems. Bounty Hunter will be back. :)

We do not intend to reset the hiscores tables associated with the minigame, and will make sure that everyone’s hard work on those hiscores is not lost.

You will still be able to use the Bounty Hunter bank and the games necklace teleport to the area.

It was really easy to transfer money in there. My friend used it to transfer to his pure and he said he did it fairly easily. Plus BH is obsolete nowadays

they should just get rid of it but instead they'll probably implement the same kinda drop system as on pvp worlds to counter the transfers.

Hopefully they will make the game better, it lacks creativity, as the crater is only a big circle. If they don't update it, they might as well take it away since barely anyone plays it anymore. So voted for 0. ( I don't care about it )

At least they told us why they're fixing it, instead of just randomly removing it which would cause a fan backlash.

I honestly hope they keep it closed, I never used it and I never plan on using it.

Don't care what they do with BH, as long as nothing gets implemented into PvP that was in BH.

Who would bring a godsword to BH though?

Also I've changed my mind since my friends had convinced me to pk people again when I get 94 Magic. So I hope they don't change much too.

I figure this is a good place to ask: Is Bounty Hunter any good? I've never played it, but is it good for non-members? I would like to try it out later if it's worth it. Thoughts?

I've never once played BH, or even gone in vicinity, so I don't care what they do with it. But I hope they don't screw it up and make a lot of people mad.

I think that if they release it back, they will eventually delete it. Its really not popular anymore. I think this is like the "Your turtle ran away to a farm" kind of action.

They might have well just got rid of it when pvp worlds came out. Nobody even plays it anymore except people who really like it or real world traders.
