does anyone know the drop rate for whips? me and a friend are having a debate i say its 100% random but i could be wrong

cool thanks i think he is on kill 500. i'll post tomorrow if the ratio worked for him.
1/450...you have to kill alot more than 500 to get an average drop rate...
It is random. You don't get it on every 600th kill, but you on average should get 1 every 600 kills (according to Powery).
most players tend to say it's 1 in 500 or so kills that ur more likely to get one, while it is still totally random. if ur really lucky u could get 1 every kill. odds are against u on that tho.
lol i know that is just how many he has killed so far, he isn't trying to calculate the drop rate just see how close he is to the getting a whip.
You can't be "closer" to getting it. You and him need to learn how probability works.
