Jagex Account Guardian was long overdue, but they really need to get something like the blizzard authenticator (which you can download on iDevices and Android)
I'm satisfied because as long as access to my email is required to log in to another computer I have no worries of someone getting in to my account b/c I have 2 step verification to get on my gmail.
You could download the google voice app which should allow you to get a phone number, although I'm not sure what the restrictions are on those who use the number from google rather than their own.
Earth y u being an ass. It's a legitimate concern. Current JAG is pretty sub par as they just added bonus security questions instead of real two step authentication.
