Question: How many of you have used WINRAR and what do you think about it?
I personally like it better than WINZIP, what do you think?

On Windows as an unarchiver I like 7-zip. Does many formats. Though my favourite compression format is gzip.

Winrar or 7-zip. Either way, they're both Winrars.

Winzip is from the 90's. Are you on a computer with needs of someone from the 90's? No? Then don't use Winzip.

7-zip is free & better. 7-zip.org

I like WinRAR more than WinZip, but WinRAR is not free. Never had problems with WinRAR but would love to test 7-zip some day.

I like WinRAR best because it has an "extract each archive to a separate folder" context option, which for some odd reason 7zip lacks.
