Unwise to get an iPod. Do you REALLY expect you'll use all the apps? Ideally you should get a smartphone of whatever OS and a standard mp3 player for media. And you'll save a hell of a lot of money
I like my iPod Touch 8gb, but if you need a phone I would just get an android or blackberry. Also wait till the next gen comes out like shane said, a camera would be really nice.
