Dear Shane, Trekkie, Earth, and Guest,
A few weeks ago I finally hit level 99 in everyone’s favorite mini-game-skill, Dungeoneering. In doing so, all but 30,900 of that xp came from free xp sources. (I know because I only have 309 tokens and have never spent any). A few stats for you.. It took me exactly 800 days to reach level 99, averaging 16,293 xp a day. At that rate, it would take me until October 2027 to reach level 120. Question.. Do you think I should continue milking free Dung XP for the next 15 years, or should I actually start doing real dungeoneering and just get it over with, or, a third option, should I just give up on the idea of maxing out all skills and obtaining a completionist cape.
Speaking of the completionist cape, where is the logic behind the insane requirement for 5000 castle wars games played for the trimmed version? If their reason was to get more people to play castle wars, they failed miserably because most of those going for that 5000 game goal just stand around and don't participate. I think a better idea would have been to spread things out among all Runescape activity's, have smaller requirements spread among more activity's, such as castle wars, pest control, stealing creation, etc. That would better represent the spirit behind being a completionist and show that you have participated in all of what Runescape has to offer.
Thanks, and keep up the good work on the best Runescape podcast, TheLyon (thelion777)
