What started your 2012?

What was the first thing you did in 2012? Obviously it's not yet 2012 in some countries (i.e. the LOSER countries), but you can wait 8 hours and then post. ;-D

The first thing I did was have a pee.
The second thing I did was drink some monster energy.
Then I had a smoke.

Suddenly 2012 doesn't seem quite so exciting.

Played the first Modern Warfare, and hit 3 360 no scopes in 1 round. None were for distance though. 2 Were on campers, 3rd was for a camper, shot early and got a guy as he came in the door next to me.

I fell asleep. Really don't bother celebrating the new year. Just an excuse for people to go out and get *****. Frankly i can do that anytime and i wont have to put up with some ******* pretending to be excited counting down to a new year.

And what a year we have ahead. The olympics are going to be **** up my TV all year with there crap and as it's being hosted on my doorstep it'll be shoved onto me non-stop. Although we have got a nice shiny new sports center built as a result. And the train station near me has been knocked down and rebuilt so it's now all millenium dome like. Maybe the world will end before then. I can only hope.

edit: When i say fall asleep to be clear I was going to stay up to watch the jets slaughter the leafs but i fell asleep. And I'm now posting this with no idea who actually won last night so i could look like a prat declaring the jets winners but you know shut the hell up.

slaughtered wut. I CLEARLY REMEMBER A SOFT PENALTY BEING CALLED WITH 4 MINUTES LEFT AND A HAND PASS CALLED THAT DIDN'T EVEN HIT A HAND WITH 30 SECONDS LEFT. In the jets zone.

it's funny everyone blames wilson for the pk even though it sucked before he got here, sucked when he got here, sucked after cleaned house, and sucks worse after new assistant coaches were brought in and best faceoff guy in league comes in. Third best pp though, but that's obviously because of the players not the coach. FIRE WILSON

but now that they didn't do completely terrible in the ber months hopefully they can have their typical 2nd half they had the past years

Jumped out of my skin as there werre fireworks that went off just next to where I was camping in the Lake District. 15 minutes of pyromania amongst the mountains was an interesting if loud start to the New Year.

Ok not slaughtered. We was missing key players. That's my excuse and I'll stick to it. It does seem your coach might be on his last chance though. Frankly the leafs are one of the few canadian teams i like.

We need a sports sub forum. I know there will only be two people using it but that'll make it almost as active as the sandbox.
