Since it looks like we're gonna play TF2, is it possible to make our maps the Halloween themed ones? I wanna see how we fare against Monoculus.

Sounds like a plan to me. I'm not sure how great the turnout will be on a Halloween night, but with Halloween maps, we'll get a ton of randoms to fill up the server.

Considering we had a nice turnout this past Monday, I don't know why we'd consider removing it.

It's not the turnout necessarily, but the fact few or no people vote for it.

Another suggestion I have is a round robin month. Have a month or two out of the year where we play each game on the poll a different week. Probably not necessary, but it guarantees we play each game in a short period so something like this doesn't happen...

I wouldn't mind that round robin month idea. Maybe we'll do that come January or February, let everyone see what games we've got to offer.

I too am surprised about CSS. It wasn't too long ago that it was HL2:DM for two weeks, CSS for the third, and GE:S getting no love. Plus the random weeks that we played TF2 and a whopping 3 people would show up, even though many people were asking for it..

Next year / semester, I'll put up a poll asking when people would be available to play. I'm thinking the 10pm EST isn't helpful to many people, let alone the Monday evening affair. It worked for me this spring and this fall, but ideally I'd be doing this Wednesday evening this semester. My fault for not putting up the poll...

I suggest we start with the new map with week, cp_foundry. It's actually quite fun if we can get enough people.

Does anyone have Christmas themed maps for TF2, CSS, or HL2:DM? I know there's a winter map on HL2:DM, but more custom maps are great.

I'll throw up a poll regarding the Date/Time after the game on the 2nd. While I'm still thinking the timing won't change too much (a good portion of the site staff is located in North America), I wouldn't mind changing the day if that would help a few people attend.

Buy it if you don't have it yet. Great game for $4.99. Also, what are we going to do when CS:GO comes out?

Probably stick with CSS until a decent amount (8-10 people) from the Rsbandb steam group have the game... I probably won't be buying it until it hits ~$20, but knowing Valve if it comes out int he summer, it might hit that next winter.
