Maybe the gadgets themselves. But I actually think a lot of those will still be around. Perhaps not in the say look or form, but we will still have it. CDs become Blu-Rays, Digital Cameras become better Digital Cameras, E-Readers become iPads, etc. These things will still be needed. The format or presentation may change, but the functionality and necessity for items will remain the same.

I love my Nook for reading though. Tablets are too big to hold comfortably in one hand and my iPhone screen is too small. The only reason I was convinced to try the Nook was its size.

I am still amazed how many people have a GPS plastered to their car windshield or dashboard. It's so silly.

If this guy really wanted to create a stir, he should have put down full-sized desktop computers. I think the days of the computer tower are numbered.

Consoles should've died before the turn of the 21st century. Why people haven't thought of connecting their PC to a TV and getting a gamepad to get that same "console" experience, just with far better hardware?

Well I don't agree with all of them.

Feature phones will exist in 10 years. Not everyone is going to pay $500+ for a phone. I know a lot of people who only have a phone with pre-paid just for emergencies.
E-readers will be around. Especially if they get the color working.
The part on the low-end camera's was horrible to read, how Apple was a threat to every camera manufacturer with it's 8 megapixel camera. Maybe I'm getting crazy but I believe that the Nokia N8 is over 1 year old and has a 12 megapixel camera. The first camera-phone with an 8 megapixel camera is from Samsung and is already 6 years old. And the first phone to record in 1080p was a LG Optimus. But yes, to their logic if everyone has a smartphone in the next decade then the low-end camera will disappear.

GPS: one thing that smart phones still lack is the ability to actually put it on the dash. so you're looking down or at your hand while you are driving. it's as dangerous as texting.

e-readers: they may disappear but i would believe it's due to people stop reading, not stop buying.

featured phone: they are forgetting about the older population and children. i do believe that many parents will buy their 12 year old a smart phone when they just want to keep tabs on their children.
and older people often have a hard *** time using technology and therefore they opt for the simple kind. Hell i know middle- age ladies who use a regular phone because they have no idea how to use a smart phone.

low end camera: well maybe low end camera will be the bargain cameras. when where you just want one and not pay 600 bucks.

DVD players: it will really depend on how much blue ray players drop, but honestly by the time it is 2020, they will be red-ray

recordable DVD: asian countries... that is all

consoles: nintendo and sony will never leave a big chuck of their money to be left. they will continue to make them. maybe they'll do an onlive type thing.

Gone by 2020? Feature phones just in the past two years have faded big time. I'm up for a new phone in a month and there's about 5 phone models left that don't require some type of data plan. Back when I got my current phone almost the whole AT@T store was filled with feature phones.
