Who has it?

I just got mine today, and I have to say I love it so far. It takes Twitter, Facebook, and Google Search and puts them together. Also, it ask's fun questions in the bio, and apparently it is gold for people who love taking pictures since it has a auto upload feature.

That's just what the internet needs.

More ******* social networks with hidden agendas.

I like it so far. It's much cleaner than Facebook, for one. I tried the hangout feature the other day and loved it (it's so nice to have a good free form of video conferences!). Sparks are pretty nice too as it makes keeping tabs on news of your interests very easily. Not to mention the community is much more mature at the moment.

i really like the Circles feature. I was talking to my frat brothers, and I brought up that if students at our college uses it, then we can have a Party circle, and send out invites, that way only people we want know about it. It is a great way to get information to people that need to know it.

I like it. It's got the Google minimalism feel to it which is something I quite like. My only concern is how us early adopters plan to get Facebook people to come to it. I don't have much hope that it will replace Facebook unless something major happens there. One of the people in my following circle, Kevin Rose (formerly of digg) suggested that this might be more like an adult version of Tumblr than a Facebook replacement?

Personally though I'm still waiting for RSS feeds and an API.

An adult version of Tumblr? Tumblr is a blog, where Google+ is a social network right? Or is Google+ going for more of a blog?

Google already has Blogger if I'm not wrong.

I don't like how extremely simple they make their layouts. At least have borders on some of the modules on the page, or let me change the color scheme from the bland, no-contrast off-white.

I just got invited to Google+ and I'm super pumped. I love the Google+ circles and hangouts! It's something that Facebook should have added a long time ago. What do you guys think about the two sites? I'm personally leaning towards Google+, and if they can get a large amount of users I will be making the switch for sure.

I don't see why people can't be members of both networks.

I like Google+ better. I am slowly trying to migrate over to Google+. I just deleted a lot of content on Facebook. The Circles are amazing. I used them to tell all the RSBandB members about the event today ;p

Lol yeah I don't understand why you would want to pick one over the other. If half of your friends decide not to go to Google+ but you do exclusively then you'd just be isolating half of your friends (assuming you have actual friends on either). I kind of want to see what it's like but it's invite only right now? Lol I'm not going to go around looking for people who can invite. XD Anyways it's not something I'd use unless it becomes bigger over FB or if a lot of people I know are using it over FB anyways.

They are too similar to make me want to drop Facebook right away and migrate to Google+. I don't really want to view people's webcams or have them view mine (besides, the two phrases "Hanging out" and "live webcam" brings only explicit conotations to my mind), so that feature alone just isn't enough for me. Surely as people join, it will be much better, but something will have to give. You can't really have two massive social networks that you visit. What is the point - you and your buddies would just be posting the same stuff twice on both. Only one will survive.

Eh. Google will probably just buy Facebook eventually. Then they'll just condense it into one thing. Googlebook...has a nice ring to it. :P

I doubt it. Microsoft has it's paws in Facebook now with the whole Skype thing.

Does anyone still need an invite? Pretty sure they're unlimited, and I've got the ability to send...

I'm liking it quite a bit. Definitely looking forward to a wider use, but I don't think it'll be a mass exodus from Facebook like some would think.
