Are the Auras only for weapons?

I didn't see anything I would really want either, but I'll say I like the "Talk to the hand" emote. I wonder if the emote is just as "girly" looking for males.

2 hings I can look forward to from the video. New water and designs on my weapons, glad I have a cannon to try out what they showed off in the video.

The auras seem useful, but not enough to change how the game is played.
