WOAH! TONS of games, HUGE discounts... For anyone missing any Valve games, $25 will get you EVERYTHING they've made so far. A decent deal at the normal $99, but for $25, major steal. Obviously other deals too, so take a look! They've got stuff going on for several days / weeks now, so hold on to your wallets and prepare for epic Steam sales!

Christ..not again. I still have 20 odd games in my steam list that i haven't even played cause i got them for like nothing. XD

Lets see...

BFBC2 for £6? Ok then.
FEAR complete pack £5? Ok.
Oddworld for a tenner. Ok.

SUPER MEAT BOI? £3? Already own it but that is a **** steal.

Ton of prince of persia games for about £3? Dunno how they run on the PC but if there any good i might buy them. Saves me having to plug my xbox back in to play them.

ARG. I really wish you hadn't posted this topic. I'd have lived in ignorance. Pity bejewled 3 isn't on sale as well.

edit: It's also pretty funny to see BFBC2 for £6 and below it Worms reloaded for £17. XD Nothing against worms at all but that certainly makes it seem a rip off and at £17 it's already too pricey i think.

I'm hoping to see:
COD4 for ~5-10USD
Borderlands GOTY ~10-15
EDIT - & Mass Effect 2 GOTY ~15
and maybe a few others.. Sometimes things are too cheap to avoid... So far Deus Ex 1&2 for $3, and BFBC2 for $6. Not bad. Not sure what else is in store, but already I'm happy.

Got the BFBC2 and the PoP games today. Wanted Fallout 3, but I have a feeling it'll be less than $20 eventually.

BFBC2 purchased. Not sure if there is anything else I want or if I should wait. Pfk, I believed we both missed the COD pack for $30 last year if I'm not mistaken (with all the PC CoD's up to MW). I'm sure they'll have a deal on it this year as well. Good buying and playing to all. Can't wait to see all these games they'll be sale-izing. Just gotta keep our ears to the ground.

Edit: Also bought Counter Strike and Counter Strike: Condition Zero for $5.

Cod4 was $15 last April, that's when I picked it up. Dunno about the pack though, i do remember it being on sale though. Probably will be again as well.

I bought the Eidos/Square Enix pack yesterday, and I'm regretting my decision, not because I think it wasn't worth it but because I'm spending money on something I wont have the time to play.

There was a number of games in the pack I've wanted like the dues ex games, hit man games, tomb raider games, just cause, and arkham asylum. It was more than worth it just for those, but I'll probably never even download the other 75% of the games in it.

I also bought dead rising 2 off the windows marketplace deals since it's cheaper there than steam, I loved the first one and this one looks even more fun.

Activision tends to keep their prices high for a very long time. Still wish I could activate CoD:WaW on Steam since I bought the game... Ah well. Hopefully they won't be too greedy and will offer their 3 year old title at a decent price during the sale.

Just as you guys called it. Modern Warfare is priced at $15 today. Getting it now.

Not much else sticks out to me atm.

Edit: That'll be 2/10 games off my Steam wishlist.

I doubt Black Ops and MoH will go below $30. xD

Day of Defeat Source for $2.50. Bought it for that last year, WAAY worth that + more.

Still going to give Activision the pass on COD4 for $15.. Not bad I guess, but honestly, 3 years after it was released, they're still trying to milk the thing. Lower it to $20, discount to $10 or $5 and people would buy it in droves.. /rant

Cod4 is well worth $15 in my opinion though, it does have a great campaign as well as multiplayer that's still around - and dedicated servers too.

Like with Duke, nothing sticks out for me today. Just Cause 2 and Spore are tempting...but nahh...

Ended up getting Battlefield BC2 for less than half COD4, so I'm not complaining. I enjoyed COD4 when it came out, and honestly, that's when I should have gotten it. But so far past it's introduction, and they're not cutting the price. BC2 came out 9 months ago and it's already lowered the price to something reasonable. COD4 just barely lowered to $30 last year (I believe.. don't quote me) .. Gah, while I think it's a good game, I've spent less money on newer things.

Sigh. Maybe someday either it'll be cheap or I'll be willing to fork over the cash. One of the downsides to PC gaming multiplayer I suppose.. can't guarantee that a used game's CD key will work. =[ **** DRM. **** YOU TO HELL!
