ok, so i was flipping through channels yesterday, to find something to watch with my nephew. I got to cartoon network and Pokemon was on. so we watched it. about 15 minutes into the episode i got the sudden urge to dig out my old gameboy and play Pokemon Blue, ya know the old school, none of this Pearl, diamond w/e crap. So i was wondering, has anyone else got the sudden urge to play an old school game like pokemon, or mario (on the NES or SNES) or maybe even pong?

I ran across a shoebox full of old SNES games the other day. Can't play them until I get on eBay for a new power cord but I really wanted to hook it up again.

Usually that urge kicks in when a sequal is due out. Halo combat evolved was the latest. But in the end setting up my old xbox was to much effort so i didn't bother.

Every once in a blue moon I find myself getting extremely nostalgic and ending playing Vice City on my PC. There is something I envy about still being able to enjoy games from a past gaming era making a lot of great tittles timeless. Having said that I wish I still had my PS2 :(
