My Dog has Cancer :(

I just found out my dog, who is a lab, has cancer. She is 11 years old, which is pretty old for a dog, but she is a sweetheart ;(

Cancer sucks, agree?

Indeed, it sucks for both humans and animals. Still, 11 years is a long life, considering that's 77 in dog years. How long will she last, is it treatable, and are you guys planning on getting another pet once she passes? My dog is getting up there in age, but I still can't bare the thought of losing him yet. You have my deepest sympathy.

We lost two of our cats to cancer so I really do sympathise.

The only thing you can do is make sure they have as good a life as possible until the end; they will let you know when they have had enough
