Lincoln's 2nd Inauguration Photo

So, being as the History Channel was focusing on Lincoln's Assassination recently (April 14th was the day he was shot), and being as US history is my area of interest, I did quite a bit of searching about Lincoln on the web. One of the most curious things I came across was his 2nd Inauguration photo which supposedly shows some of the conspirators present at the occasion. Whether or not they actually were is debatable, but to think that they were that close and would be bent on killing the man shortly thereafter, it's very amazing and awe-inspiring imo. I tried to find Booth in the photo and think I found him. In some pictures, the other conspirators were pointed out. Regardless, I wondered what you guys thought about the picture. Do you think it's him??? :shock:

That's rather interesting. Did you search the picture yourself for him? >.<

Ya. That's the guy I thought it was. Considering the quality, that's the closest person I thought it was. Anyways, I never found a picture pointing him out, so that's my closest guess.

This picture is very tense on the eyes

Being american and all, I knew about that day. But i cant tell if it is him or not. If anyone else can tell if it looks like him, you must have very good eyesight, becuasuse the picture is way too small to even tell. I guess giving credit to the photo, just under the chin, there is a black patch, which could be his moustache (if it's licoln). Ive tried to zoom the photo to get a better picture, but it just becomes too distorted. And im betting if you went to the library of congress and showed them that photo, they might be able to tell you if it is him or not.

It's possible though.

It sure looks like Booth, but the picture quality back then is so bad, I mean that could be anyone
