Down the line, they will probably be way worth more. I'm surprised no one mentioned this, but with santa suits, the santa hat would be a great addition for any person. You may not agree, but I think the more that time goes on, more people will want santa hats. Same with rares. Rares are rares. There will always be a smaller number or decreasing number of them. I'm sure they will all have their peaking points, but I don't think any rare is really worth it's weight in gold. Granted, that's only my opinion, but I bet you could find lots of people to agree. But even in real life, things that someone may not consider rare like a cheese sandwich with the visage of Mary in the burnt parts may be someone else's relic.
Not to poke fun at religion, but that happens all the time (even back in the middle ages, too
).
The moral: Rares will almost always be overpriced and will stay that way with a following.

Buy a santa hat in mid summer, sell during winter time = big bam boom PROFIT. Seeing how this happens practically every year.
