RuneHQ Visits Jagex

I found this rather interesting that Jagex would personally invite players to visit their headquarters and provide so much for them. It must have been quite the experience for those who went, and it'd be nice if this was a sign that they're opening themselves up more to their players and the general public. Of course I'd like to know what they discussed, but I doubt that information's coming out anytime soon.

Side note: Dang at the F2Pers mentioned in the post.

I skimmed through it when I saw it on the Jagex twitter feed, apparently they had to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements. Would have been interesting to go have a look around, and you can never have too much corporate hospitality.

Hmm interesting, I'd love to go for a week's trip to the headquarters. Sounds like the people are pretty friendly if they runehq didn't lie. Also knowing the famous players like Gertjaars and Gemini Pro irl is pretty cool.

I agree =] I think it would be great to go to the headquarters and get to know all about the game. seeing players irl would be cool too =]

This makes me wonder though: do you think Jagex will invite other fansite owners/admins to their headquarters, or will they keep it limited? Personally, I think it'd be awesome if they continued to invite people from fansites, but I doubt it will happen.

I smell a RuneCon next year. If Jagex is being so player friendly as to invite fansite owners to their HQ then I think eventually they'll invite everyone to their 'Jagex Studios', for a price of course.

What's really strange is that Jagex didn't care about Fansites until Mark Gerhard took over. I wonder why he's so into communication with fansites when the previous CEO wasn't.

Mli, most likely RHQ was the first. Chances are Tip.it and Zybez will go before BnB is asked.

No offence, but that sounds fake to me. If you didn't live in England you wouldn't spend your last afternoon playing RS, you'd go sightseeing or do something unique to the country.

Would taking pictures violate the Non-Disclosure?

Taking pictures isn't fine-able, but anybody else sees them and you'll be slapped with a heavy fine.

Was any fansite besides RHQ invited? XD I don't think B&B would be next in line. Could of been no expenses payed, then it could of been willingness to pay rather than not getting invited.

I found that really funny. Lets do something we can do anytime we want anywhere in the world on our last afternoon. Unless playing by the developers is so much for fun or something.
