I would be at the Counter Strike and Half Life 2, but I don't have team fortress 2 so I would be out of that one.

I actually just got The Orange Box today, and TF2 is awesome fun. I also have HL2DM (which I still haven't tried yet), but I don't have CS. The time of the event is a bit iffy for me, but if i really tried, I could probably just make it in time. :wink:

Edit: Agh, a bunch of things held me up, and so i was afk even though Steam said I was online. I'm so sorry, I'll try to make it next week!! :cry:

I would come but the time is more than inconvienient. If I'm up at that time and around I'll be there but seeing as how I'm away for the next 2 wednesdays it's not look likely

If we continue doing what we did this past week, we plan on Half Life 2: Deathmatch, and play for a bit, and decide if we want to switch games. We had an overwhelmingly high request for Counter Strike Source - Gungame, so we moved to that instead.

So, because we can't get enough people to agree on one game on the Forums, we'll stick with Half Life 2: Deathmatch. If we decide to switch games, we'll do so during the event. If you don't know if you'd like to stick around, show up at the HL2:DM server (it's totally free, so why complain) and we'll figure things out from there.

Pretty junk turnout this week... Wondering if we should change day / time due to school arrangements. Anyone have input?

I only came to a few. The time is quite busy and when I start school once more, I'll be even busier. Yeah, perhaps a time change would help, I can't think of an available one at the moment but if turnouts continue to be crappy, then I guess a time change is needed for HL2.

I also like the idea of switching games while the event is on, maybe turnouts would be more significant if this occurs in following events.

Ah what the hell. The one week that I can finally play you guys switch to CSS, which I don't have. And I won't get it until it goes on sale on Steam. GAH.

Eh, IB History + Lit = gg free time, so I wouldn't be playing even if I had CSS.

So after this week's event (today's event), I'm guessing a general consensus would be to change the game to something else.

I'm flexible for different days, but unfortunately I can't do the events on Thursday or Friday, leaving Mon-Wed to choose from. I've got classes on Mon/Wed that go till 6pm my time (3 hours before the current event time), so 8-10PM Eastern would be ideal for those days. Tuesday I've only got one class in the morning, so the same evening times would probably be appropriate.

I'll leave this open to discussion, especially since we're not always getting awesome turnouts that we'd like to have. Please pass this topic / post on to other friends you know will be coming so we can work out details for changes for Game(s) and time.

I like the Counter Strike: Source games. More fun than HL2. I wouldn't really like a change.

Mondays and Wednesdays I have a class until 5pm (pacific), so most times i'm not home until 6:30, then have dinner and such, and by that time, it's around 7pm when I can first get onto the computer. That would be 10pm your time Paul, and that's probably not ideal, seeing that a good turnout can last for a few hours at least.

Tuesdays are a bit better for me. I could probably get home from class by 5pm, and so that would work a lot better for me, and for others as well than my m/w time.

As for games, I have HL2DM, but I really love TF2, and I'd love it if we could play it. However, the time right now is (as you can see) awful for me, so I haven't been able to make it once yet.

i just bought css and hl2 dm so am planning on attending some events however its incredibly different and hard to get use to with so many other good people in pubs, so im gonna be terrible :/
