Need advice to level crafting in f2p

From several sources, it has been said that buying silver bars and making them into unstrung holy symbols is the cost effective way. At what price should I buy bars if the price of unstrung holy symbols and bars seems to be aligned in a noncostly manner?

also, I have heard from other sources that I should make emerald rings and sell them at GE to mems...

Any other suggestions?

Bars don't sell below market... so buy at market price.

It'll take about 3 minutes, though.

just an idea... and u loose like only 10gp per unstrung amulet.

if u want to make money though i think sapphire necklaces made money for me when i was f2p. sold to members

That's pretty terrible xp. The way that I got my crafting up was by making ruby amulets. It's fairly fast xp (not slow at least) and you don't lose an insane amount. I believe it was 3 gp/xp last time i checked.

my buddy made unstrung symbols to get crafting up in f2p i belive it's like 40 gp loss it was like 4 gp loss a while ago but not so much now

Since the shop update, minimum caps on items are removed. Meaning if you make them into tiaras, before the update tiaras would be stable at 52 gp ea, but now they'll keep dropping to who knows what.

If you had the money, I'd suggest hard leather bodies just because. I thought that was a good way, but silver bars are very good, too (maybe even better). :shock:
