This is a thread where we can talk about stuff we did when we were noobs.

When I first started I though picking bananas on Karamja and filling the crate for 30 gp was fast and easy money

ya, i actually had a money scheme with my friend to cut 100 logs and sell to general store, and we would have 100 gp and be rich... yes we where nubs.

When toy horses first came out,me and my friend would sell them for thousands lol.
We also danced for money.You'd be suprised how many high levels actually gave us money and items.
The good old days,now I have to work for money.

When I first started playing, I thought that the wilderness level in the bottom right of the screen was your character's level, so I ran to like 45 wilderness and I was like w00t! I'm level 45 rofl

During my first year (1999?), my friend and I had this lame bar thing going on. We 'owned' the bar in Varrock, and we would rent out the rooms upstairs for like 5 gp and bring people food and stuff. It was actually really fun. I had a lot more fun when I was a noob than I do now.

My first ever day, was recruited for a "clan"

We had to wear black robes and a fire staff, and our "base" was the building south of the GE. I didn't leave that building for about 20 hours of playing haha, used to rent out rooms as well, kept killing the man that spawns in there thinking that it was extremely good exp... good times

I remember when I first got members and I was doing that quest for herblore and I got poisoned by one of those tribe people and I was slowly dying and I had no idea what to do lol. Lost like 20k worth of stuff ;< which was alot to me back then!

Back in 2005, I started wandering around. I went north and I was in the wild, and just kept going north. I had no idea what was going on and I died with my tutorial Island items.

The crossroads north of Draynor Village, and south of Draynor Manor was a major point for me to figure out where I was. I used the world map a lot.

I mined a TON in the Dwarven Mines. I met this one guy. We mined a lot near each other. I would mine Tin and Copper, and he was mining Adamant, and Coal. He gave me an Adamant Pickaxe and I was incredibly happy. I worked my way up to iron, and I would take it to Falador Furnace, and make iron bars, and go back to the mines and smith on the anvils, and finally sell my newly made items to the general store for a profit of like 10k!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

because I thought that I made a fortune when this guy gave me 100gp for a chef hat. I had so much fun when I first started playing.

When I first started (2006?) they didnt have to lumby upstairs bank and I wanted my gold so I went to draynor and got attacked by a highwayman. I didnt know you could run so I kept dying and thought my stuff was gone so I made a new account and repeat that a few times. Then I made it once, but never got far, quit and now my current accout is 1 1/2 yrs old now. (I havent been playing that whole time, Ive been playing with him for about a year)

I just remember for the longest time getting a mithril woodcutting axe the first day I played the game and woodcutting a long time. Then, I remember doing dragon slayer at level 52 combat and dying the first time I tried. Awe...those were the days. :roll:

My friend gave me 10k when i first started, and I made that cash last until I was level 30. Those were indeed the days.
