Quest Trees

I often find it really annoying when quests have other quests as a requirement to complete, then those quests have quests in their requirements, and so on. It gets hard trying to find the first quest you'd have to finish in order to actually do the quest you wanted to complete in the first place. It'd be nice if there were some function that would list all the quests, and if you selected one, it would show the quests branching off the selected quest that you'd need to complete (ending with the quests that contained no other quest requirements) in order to have all the requirements for the selected quest. What do you think?

Some quests get linked to others quests so it wouldn't really work out. They have also stated that their going to be linking quests.

I really don't think it's necessary for a whole new function to detail this, if you search around on various fan sites you'll people who've made simple versions of what you're talking about.

That's a good idea. If you could figure out all the quests you needed in order to get to a certain quest, it would save a little bit of time. :wink:

ehh...idk...but maybe they culd have like a list of story lines and it could show which quests fall under a line.

That's quite useful but confusing at the same time. It'll take people a while to find the quest itself before trying to figure out which quests are needed.

i wonder how long the tree for the ardy/elf quest line will be.

RS doesn't have super complex quest trees and dependencies/requirements. I do agree however, that with the addition of new quests such as WGS and other "master" quests, some sort of quest organization would be helpful.

OMG i love this for quest's you have to do 100 other quest's and have 10000000 hours on help sites and youtube this is a great idea 100% support POST ON RS FORUMS AND LEAVE THE ADRESS
