Mail box

Do you think jagex will ever create a mail box where players can mail each other with letters and items? BUT, the only way you could mail players items would be if the person sending the mail, and the person recieving the mail, have both logged onto the same computer atleast once. I dont know if this would work...but what do you think?

Mail...maybe I guess, but as for items, it would just be real world trading. It would undo everything they got rid of.

This would be nice for item lending and what not since you could lend someone an item that you know they'll need. But no, I don't think they will implement this system. It sounds like a copy off of WoW

It's just trading, just at peoples own convenience. However, obviously Jagex trying to get rid of all types of scams, real world trading etc, will never agree to sending items, but maybe yes for letters.

no... like if both the same accounts logged onto the same computer you could give items between those 2 accounts, or even like 3 accounts. Because with RWT who wuld just let these random people know their password to give them items...idk, i kinda think jagex could think about it lol

They have a mailbox system on WoW, which lets you transfer items between people without having to be with each other. It's seems to work quite well on world of warcraft so I don't see why it wouldn't on Runescape.

yes but it also allows you to transfer to your other characters.
which is against runescape rules.

What about hackers? Wouldn't this just give them another tool to gain their ill-gotten gains?

I don't think it's worth it. You might as well just talk to people in game. Or just use regular e-mail to talk to that person. No great need for a mail box.

They could be offline and you have something important to say, or something more complicated than the PM system allows, or something that needed to be saved somewhere.
And asking for someone's e-mail address is against the rules.

Which WoW would have copied a previous game which would of copied a previous game which would of copied a previous game which would of copied real life.
I thought of a mail box system before I ever even heard of WoW and I'm sure everyone has.

Actually it should just be that they have to be on your friends list for a certain amount of time and vice-versa.

there's a whole load of updates that strait up won't happen because of jagex's failed efforts to remove gold selling from the game. This is one of them.
