Most users ever online was 391 on December 10th, 2005, 8:02 AM.

I was just wondering what happened at this time for so many people to be online at the same time.

I'm going to take a stab at this and guess. I want to say that this was a Christmas drop party event, due to the it being in December and being close to Christmas. That's just a guess, so don't take it as the answer.

I'm not too sure, but I've never seen it anywhere close to that. Maybe RSBandB got invaded by bots? If that was it, I think it should be reset so we can have the correct amount.

Yeah, the Christmas drop party. Those was some fun times back then. I got more logs and ashes that anything else though, i never did have any luck with drop parties. #-o

Edit: Never mind, I did some searching, and it actually wasn't until December 18th, 2005. I honestly can't remember back that far. XD

RuneHQ died and told everyone to come here. Had a partnership at the time.

Everyone thought the world was going to end so all the little 10 year old runescape players joined and ranted about it.

This should be locked now as it's clear Creepy's is the right and most plausible answer.
