Yeah, woke up to that this morning. Pretty depressing but the sad thing is, this type of thing isn't rare anymore due to the large amount of flights nowadays

Turns out the death toll was actually 50. There was an off-duty pilot on the flight returning home I believe. I'm glad that only one person out of three in the house that got hit died. (Heard the other two were the wife and daughter of the man killed on the ground). Hope the other two come out ok.

Yeah I found out a day later that I was going on holiday in August and I thought 'What if that happened to me?'

Planes crashes are rare though, its just a shame that so many people died from this one.

Lol plane crash. . . I was more interested in the story that followed about the 8 year old boy that killed two men. One being his father.

this adds another reason to not ride airplanes for me
and yes this is sad especially for the one family who already lost someone to a plane crash

planes are really safe most of the time, they say your more likely to be killed in a car then plane.
hell i've been in more planes in my life then cars and nothing ever happend while i've been in one.

Seems like 09's bringing on the plane incidents ... jet crashes into someones house, plane lands in hudson due to geese? and this. Yeah .. I just hope the flight to Florida for our national ROTC drill competition isn't on the news too. Good thing that's a few months away.
