UNMUTED!!!!

Well. After two and a half years of being perm muted, the lift is off! I sent jagex a very long email regarding my mute and they sent me back a message saying that I am unmuted. I am very happy about this and it was rather surprising.

Any thoughts on permanent mutes?

that they suck lol.
i've only had a 24 hour mute.
but i think if you get a perm mute it should be lifted after 10 days of game time.
idk just an idea.

and also i know a lot of people got unmuted when summoning came out so maybe they skipped you and now they are unmuting u

I actually emailed there billing department and they sent me another email back explaining that they think that i have matured and stuff. It was an actual personalized response too which is always nice. i didn't send them an in-game message because i would have only had 400 letters allowed...which is virtually nothing.

The email was incredibly long that i sent explaining everyhting.

Haha, congratz I guess? This is very coincidental because I was just listening to old episodes of The Update (some May one) and Shane/Brad were talking about how quick chat would be available for muted players.

Anyhow, I would imagine they stink; but if you show maturity and patience I guess 95% of the time Jagex would give ya a second chance.

being muted is probably the worst thing that can happen to the game of runescape... Cant communicate with people what the game is mainly for lol...

Being muted was real bad for me for the first two months but then I got used to it. Then about 1.5 years into my mute they released quick chat which really helped me. I hope your main get unmuted sunset.

Well, I'm glad you are unmuted now. I can only imagine what its like to be muted for so long. But now that you are unmuted, stay unmuted :lol:
