I actually thought it was good. It wasn't a disaster at all. The crowd loved it, and doesn't look like anybody was mad.

That was god awful. The fact that I'm a drummer and he was about a second off beat while he was singing made me close it before it was half done.

Well it wasn't spontaneous was it, that would mean it wasn't planned and was just spur of the moment thing. Clearly that was set up and supposed to happen. If he practiced it or not is another question but I'd seriously bloody hope he didn't practice it cause it was terrible.
