A while ago, we announced that we would be making changes to the rewards for the Stealing Creation minigame. These changes have gone live today.

* Players can no longer gain combat experience inside the Stealing Creation minigame. Instead, the sacred clay combat equipment rewards give bonus experience when they are used. This means that combat experience rewards are given in the same way as reward experience for non-combat skills.

* Sacred clay reward items give experience at a much greater rate than previously. While using one of these items, the normal experience you would gain is doubled.

* Rather than having a fixed number of transformations, the reward items will lose charge gradually as they give experience. The more experience you are gaining, the quicker the charge will run out.

* The system for buying reward items has changed. The score you earn in the minigame is now converted into reward points, and you buy reward items using these points. If you had any points stored before this update, 200,000 of those points will be converted to the new system. Any other points will be lost. In addition, if you had more than ten tools or ten pieces of armour/weapons, any excess have been converted to reward points.

sounds ok, but if I log in and see half my tools missing from my bank cause i bought awhole bunch.. IM going to be one mad scorpion >>

yeah just to let everyone know I lost like 20 prototools and all of my votile ones lol.. >> but you know the tools are amazing. Its saving me alot of cash and time. I think overall it's a great update

I'm angry at Jagex. After I got 99 smithing they make something that makes it twice as cheap. Could have saved 30m gp. Oh well time to get in the top 100 smithers then.

I think that Jagex needs to stop nerfing all of our mini game rewards. first Pest Control, now this, geez 1/5 you lousy nerfers

You know normally I'd agree with you, but for sc I don't think you should get xp rewards. Granted there needs to be more rewards.. Just not xp ones. After all if u want xp play pc :)

What Kyle said is very true, but he is missing something. Even though PC gives XP, it's only for combat. Since SC deals with more skills, maybe it could give XP for non-combat skills. I don't think we have any games that do that.

Meh... I think they should have not changed it so that you could still have the large amounts of points but make the tools higher prices seeing that they give you more xp. Getting rid of the xp earned in game, not to sure about that. Alex, Owen and I were all magers when the game came out and we got a good amount of magic xp, why don't they just get rid of the xp earned in Fist of Guthix, then it would be even... ...
