i was wondering to see if i could use this method to make gold fast.

or can someone tell me another way to make good money?

Don't buy gold from those sites, it's against the rules.

Secondly, they probably merchant/nolife all day.

They cannot be trusted so don't buy.

They probably just merchant stuff or they skill. Probably autoers.

Even if you did buy it you wouldn't be able to get it, trade-limit.

Old skool way was to get lots of people in a sweat shop and get them to cut yews all day xD Then just sell and trade away cash for real munnies.

I think they way they do it now is to ask for your username/password then they'll log in and do whatever to get the amount of cash. But then that is account sharing which gets you banned plus they could just steal your account to make you suffer.

There is no secret, just keep making cash and in the end you'll have your cash dreams come true ^^.

according to an old rs news post; half the time the "company" doesn't even give the money to the poor sap who bought it. I'#d say it's a karma thing, but tbh there's little to no way to trade the money over now so they shouldn't expect the cash anyway XD

On PVP you can just have it in your inventory and let your customer kill you and than the money will be transfer ed if they pick it up.

Not possible. They stated when the PvP worlds came out that you will not obtain your opponents items when you kill them. All the items dropped by the victim disappear, (provided they are skulled) and the attacker is granted rewards generated by the game. The value of the rewards depend on a variety of factors so it makes RWT virtually impossible.

Most of the time they sit at green dragons..... I see them all the time, and they do trade gold. Trust me, an old friend of mine, we had a race to 25million coins about 2 months ago..... He had it in about an hour, he bought it. Here is a quote from a site I just looked up on Google-
Quote:
we have changed the way of trade, We guarantee delivery time less than 5 hours now. other sites deliver gold more than 24 hours, your account ID, password must be given to us (it can be any kinds account that you want to be delivered, mule account, your main account). After placing the order, please contact our Live Chat for more details.

And yes the gold sellers are still in operation. My real life friend bought cash about a month ago, so he could finish herbalore. It did take about 5 hours to get, but it was traded to him. They are using some system to "trade" it.
Quote:
Runescape is a popular web-based MMORPG developed by a UK company, Jagex. Being based on the Java platform, the game appeals to a broad range of players and attracts as much as 10 million people. The game offers free to play content, funded by advertisment, as well as premium subscriptions for non-advertising servers. The game is based on a fantasy theme involving players to exploring the the world of Gielinor. Like other MMORPGs, the game is open-ended and there is no particular path to follow. Players can engage in killing monsters, fighting other players, completing quests, leveling skills and doing other activities such as trading and mini-games. The game has been running since 2004 and is still going strong with more people joining up every day.

Runescape Gold is the common in-game currency used by players to trade and exchange goods with. The most direct way to obtain Runescape GP is by killing monsters and completing quests. Otherwise, players collect raw materials and convert them to items and sell them to other players for RS Gold. Successful traders make a fortune from the Grand Exchange where as certain weapons and armor demand high prices. Occasionally, the economy becomes unstabled with players exploiting the game's resources. The producer is strongly against all kinds of exploits and looking for ways to counter-measure such activities. However, various game currency sellers are offering RS Gold for real money.

Quote:
In a word: DON’T.

Buying gold online is a sure way to get your Runescape account banned. Not only that, you might lose all the other Runescape accounts that you have. Jagex will log your IP and ban any account that is originating from that particular IP address.

For the gold sellers, (the vast majority of which are in China), this is no big deal. For them it is a matter of losing a single level 3 player because they are constantly creating these mule players and using them on proxy servers. If one gets caught and deleted they have plenty more to take its place. This is why if you ever purchase gold from one of these sellers you will not see a higher level character giving you the gold. They make sure that their higher level money making characters are never associated with the gold transactions themselves. They will then use these higher level gold maker accounts and have them trade with a shadow account. That shadow account will then trade with the gold trader account. This way the truly valuable gold maker account is always insulated and for the most part safe from scrutiny because it is never actually associated with the gold trader accounts.

So when Jagex does finally catch one of these low level mule gold seller accounts, they track the IP interaction that it has with other players. Once they have enough activity they ban the original gold selling mule and every other character that traded with them for massive amount of gp with nothing else of value being given in exchange.

What these means for you is that your character (whatever level it might be) will be permanently banned. So that level 73 character that you have been working on for months will be gone and all your hard work along with it. And there isn’t a single thing you can do about it. Jagex will not listen to your appeals because you broke the rules. The gold sellers will not care because they got their money and you got their gold. You will be out of luck.

But you might think you can outsmart Jagex and use a mule and shadow account of your own. If you end up doing this Jagex will not stop at just banning your level 3 mule, they will as said before ban every character associated with that particular IP address. This means that not only do you lose your level 3, but you will lose your level 43 magician and your level 63 ranger and your level 93 warrior and so on.

So is it worth trying to trade real money for gold in Runescape? Let’s review:

1. It is against the rules of the game.

2. You will eventually get caught because Jagex is not looking for you but for the gold sellers. However when they find the gold sellers they will find you.

3. You will not only lose the account that you used to trade to get the gold, you will lose all your accounts associated with your IP.

4. You will lose the gold you just traded for.

Buying gold online will never go away. There are just too many companies doing it right now and until the laws concerning the DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) are clarified through case law, the advantage will be to the gold sellers. However, if you want to have an account and play on it for awhile then trading gold online is not the way to go. Rather, dedicate yourself to your character, train it well, be a productive part of the community and enjoy a guilt free life.

Bottom line: Don’t trade gold.

I personally thought about it quite some time ago, but decided my account was more important.

He just said he didn't. In fact it's the first thing he said.

To make money as fast as they did, you'd probably have to spend all day and all night on the game. It will become a chore and no longer fun.

The way they used to do it, before the equal trade, was to get alot of people to play f2p(i guess) and pay them a tiny amount per hour and then use the money they make on those accounts to sell to players... and then make money. This is in like china and places btw...

Back in 'The Day' they would either have bots, or people working in sweatshopesque conditions all getting money to give to one person, who would trade it to some moron who couldn't figure out how to get it themselves. If you're looking to make money their way, forget about it. Either you're going to have to macro, or you'll have to play 24/7 to act like their crazy armies of workers.

If you want to get money the legit way, which is what I think you're getting at, I'd suggest either looking in to Slayer (always my personal favorite pick), Runecrafting, or Hunter. You're guaranteed money with long term Slayer, and it would be my suggestion if you're looking for a stable ability to get money at a later time. If you're looking for constant money now, and you don't mind the tedious work, both Hunter and Runecrafting will help you out. Runecrafting Natures or Laws should help bring in some cash, but it would require a bit of monotony. Hunter too would require some monotony, and certainly more competition. In any case, it comes down to what you're willing to do and what risks you are willing to take.

I know one of my friend's sold items on his account to someone at my school and they just transferred it late at night in bounty hunter.

I wouldn't encourage this as you could be banned.
