Willows vs. Yews?

Alright, so, I've been back into RuneScape for almost 5 days now, and I'm going for 99 Woodcutting again. (How many times have I said that? 5 times now?)

I'm wondering: Which should I cut for Faster EXP? I've heard that Willows are a great and fast way, but I won't get any money out of it. I've also heard that Yews are better, and I'll also get some money out of it, too.

I know a few friends with 99 Woodcutting, and I haven't asked them which one is faster, but I know there's definitely more than two people here with 99 Woodcutting. So, I'm asking for your help.

I'll be currently cutting Willows, but if Yews are the faster EXP, I'll switch to it.

I have 92 Woodcutting. Just to let you know.

willows are the best xp/time ratio, however, yews put a nice lump in your gp stack... speed 99=willow money 99=yew. make your choice

As a straight answer to the question, willows are undoubtedly the fastest. The price of yews seems to be constantly rising though and would be worth considering if you don't mind spending roughly twice as long cutting them to 99.

Willow for Fast xp.
Yews for kind of medium xp and profit.

Well if I was going for 99 wcing, I would cut yews to 99. But I prefer money over fast exp. Willows are fast but they are VERY boring. I've also heard about the "teak way". Its where you stand in between 2 teak trees and cut and drop the teak logs. This also seems boring but its fast exp. Its all depends on if you want money over exp.

I would cut willows all the way personally. I would prefer faster exp and less money rather than slower exp and more money. But then again, I prefer my other quicker methods of moneymaking.

i want fast 99s so i did willows i still made like 4m though

I am currently going to 99 woodcutting as well and am cutting yew till I pay off my D axe and have at least 2M in the bank. Then its off to the willows (for XP.)
