We aren't fighting for the stupid towers, we should be fighting for human rights. Jesus Christ they behead *** people and stone their children for choosing christianity in Iran.
Says it all about the modern world we live in though doesn't it? The majority of people only really care when they are personally threatened or inconvenienced.
this is going to sound really bad, but i dont mean it in a bad way
if i thought about every bad thing that happend in the world, i would go nutty in less then a hour. i have a hard time with what goes on in my life as is, i cant think about everyone else in the world to. now that
does not mean i dont care, i do, trust me if i could press a button and make everyone in the world happy 24/7 i sure as hell would.
btw im not trying to pick a fight with you or anything, just my 2 cents

That's the case with everyone really, there are times to mourn, but people get over it, it's the human way.
Most things you never hear about for months later unless it's hugely drastic or you're in some way directly involved as is the case with some Russian stealth bomber flying over Hull. You wouldn't hear about a death in the Iraq war on the news until days, maybe weeks after the incident unless you were related because everyone else out there has more pressing matters at hand, such as staying alive.
But then again a lot of things that go on these days I'm just past caring about, the last news I felt was bad enough for me to bother about was that Liverpudlian aid worker who was captured by Al-Qaeda and kept in a cage for weeks on end. Even that Madeline McCann thing I didn't care much about, kids go missing all the time, they only got media attention because the parents were medical professionals who phoned the papers in the first place.
