i didnt say anything about a guy seeing it from the ground.

if it was a year ago why are we talking about it now? :|

Nobody's radar is going to work against the UN's B-2 bomber, because it's radar evasive, same goes for that Russian plane. It looks like a bloody insect on a radar because the infra-red heat signature is so small. What you're saying makes no sense, yes the radar is supposed to see things, but the fact that it physically cannot just negates your argument.
And we're talking about it now because it has just been leaked in the newspaper. Well, yesterday it was.

Well.. you can, which is actually what airport staff are paid for. Everyone is forced when entering a plane to walk through a metal detector. If any metal is picked up, be it keys, belt buckle, anything, a handheld detector is swept over the body. Nobody can pass through airport security without having emptied all metal from their persons.

And they X-Ray bags, I'd love to see you try and get through customs with a knife and try to explain it *when* they find it.

Nothing on this earth is invisible to radar(that we know of). Ill try to explain this to you...A B-52 bomber might show up on a radar screen as the size of a football field. A B-2 or our F-22 would show up the size of the bird. Its allows the pilot to fly around hot radar zones.

Russia is trying to flex her rusting mussels. It would be bad for Russia to do anything against the UK or any NATO nation because America would step in and save them. Unlike Russia we have the means to fight a two front war. Personally i think the UK could fend of Russia by them selfs.

no really? :| i know they x-ray bags like i said, i've gone thur that crap almost 200 times...
what does getting a knife on a plane have anything to do with a stealth bomber? i think im loseing you because we are getting so far off topic with this.

its funny how when someone posts something about 9/11 people are so quick to jump on it and make fun of us, but as soon as something like this happens to another country and i say its funny, i get jumped on, i mean its not like this killed anyone...it could have, but it didnt so that makes it funny.

im not going to get off topic anymore, if you want to go ahead...

We went to war over it, we wasn't laughing.

I'm not giving you a hard time, I don't hugely care about the fact you found it funny it was more what you was saying was incorrect.

Says it all about the modern world we live in though doesn't it? The majority of people only really care when they are personally threatened or inconvenienced.

this is going to sound really bad, but i dont mean it in a bad way

if i thought about every bad thing that happend in the world, i would go nutty in less then a hour. i have a hard time with what goes on in my life as is, i cant think about everyone else in the world to. now that does not mean i dont care, i do, trust me if i could press a button and make everyone in the world happy 24/7 i sure as hell would.

btw im not trying to pick a fight with you or anything, just my 2 cents :P

That's the case with everyone really, there are times to mourn, but people get over it, it's the human way.

Most things you never hear about for months later unless it's hugely drastic or you're in some way directly involved as is the case with some Russian stealth bomber flying over Hull. You wouldn't hear about a death in the Iraq war on the news until days, maybe weeks after the incident unless you were related because everyone else out there has more pressing matters at hand, such as staying alive.

But then again a lot of things that go on these days I'm just past caring about, the last news I felt was bad enough for me to bother about was that Liverpudlian aid worker who was captured by Al-Qaeda and kept in a cage for weeks on end. Even that Madeline McCann thing I didn't care much about, kids go missing all the time, they only got media attention because the parents were medical professionals who phoned the papers in the first place.
