Well if we're talking about being lazy ... for fletching you don't have to move a step as long as you have all the materials. But you do have to get bowstrings ... so yeah, cooking seems like the easiest.

hmm... Cooking and Fletching are easy, same as Hunter (if your p2p), firemaking and woodcutting work well together... I'm not sure which is the fastest 99 to get.

there is no easy 99 skill they all take patience and time
and there is no bought skills cause you can buy all your skills
so easiest 99 probally att/def/str cause anyone can get that kill a monster bam gain exp repeat no materials needed really

Cost wise: Firemaking (it's not as hard as people say :roll:

) then cooking

Time wise: Smithing (Buying tons of bars and making the highest level thing you can)

Least preparation: Woodcutting, Mining or Fishing. Possibly combat (need food, weapons and all that)

Actually cost-wise wouldn't it be woodcutting, fishing or mining..? Something you don't need to spend *anything* for and you'll probably make money from?

Without a doubt, cooking is easiest, but thieving has to come pretty close. Firemaking is not that hard really and I don't know how it took me almost a year to get 99 :oops:

Surely you can spare a few hundred GP or whatever it is to fix it?
Point being, those are the skills you make money on as long as you're not just dropping everything you collect. If we were going cost-wise then you could also bring other ones like Runecrafting into it.. but then it'd just be getting silly.

Thieving is not really easy. It gets really frustrating after 85, it's like how people complain about failing traps in the underground pass, except it's happening every other second.

(( It's fast, but not really easy. A lot of clickingg. And you have to loot 2 whole rooms within the 5 minutes, which is hard, and can't really be done if you're doing (or even thinking of) anything else, or even typing a message to someone.

Fishing is pretty easy, though. Theres really nothing that you have to do, apart from banking and switching spots. Which is like woodcutting too, except you have to change trees more often.

And then there's cooking, where you don't have to do anything and will only take around a week for 99. If you have someone lure the banker in the Rogue's Den, it's a skill you don't have to move one square at all from 1-99*. XD But I guess other bank skills like herblore, fletching, crafting, etc. can be that too.
*assuming you get no random evnets in that time

cooking id say. fastest exp, and can take a short time to get once you have already bought the supplies.
