This is the reason why Item Lending have ruined goals.

I dont see how, you can always have a friend lend a friend a item in the old RuneScape...

With the Trade Limit put into effect, anyone with an expensive item such as a God Sword or Partyhat would have earned it.

Now people can lend out items to people who can then go out and strut around like they're God's gift.

I don't understand why people are standing around shouting "borrow whip plz"...

Why would someone lend something to someone they don't even know, it's pointless.

But why though? You lend it for an hour, realize 10 minutes after lending it, you wanna train combat or range and you want it back, but can't get it back.

Especially to someone you don't know. There's no point.

Ya, I won't be lending anything to anyone I don't know. I'll let my good friends borrow my phat, whip, or w/e, but people need to learn to earn things. Sure, in Old Runescape you could lend your items to good friends, but would you have ever trusted some random noob who stood around yelling "Borrowing godsword!" like he deserved to have one?

But what did such a Teuton afterwards look like when he had been "improved" and led into a monastery? Like a caricature of a human being, like an abortion: he had become a "sinner," he was in a cage, one had imprisoned him behind nothing but sheer terrifying concepts... There he lay now, sick, miserable, filled with ill-will towards himself; full of hatred for the impulses toward life, full of suspicion of all that was still strong and happy. In short, a "Christian"... - Twighlight of the Idols

3/5.

The changes to the bank are mediocre at best, with the bad outweighing the good. As others have mentioned, having to 'withdraw x' is annoying, and I do hope Jagex changes it so that a reserved spot is created for any item taken out (or at least specified while it is in the bank). With the current lag in a bank, withdrawing items next to one another is a pain, often leading me to withdraw items I did not wish to withdraw, causing more confusion when I need to put them back in the bank.

Since the items don't remember the tabs they belong to, I'm about ready to give up on them. They're just making more work for me in the end. Maybe that Search function will come in handy though.

Item lending is controversial to many people, though the only qualm I have with it is that you can't demand an item back, or return it whenever you wish. Just remember that if you have a good friend wanting to borrow something, you can always sell them it for a short period, and then trade them their money back after.

I like the bank update because of the search but I'd prefer a text box in the corner of the bank window always visible but this is good enough.

I think the tabs need a bit more work. Why can't I rearrange them? I accidentally collapsed my first tab out of curiosity, after arranging them all in a convenient order. So basically, to get that order back I have to recreate all the tabs just because one was removed. :-x
Another needed update to the bank I feel left out is item locking. The ability to lock an item to a specific tab, or even a specific space in that tab. I don't like having place holders for items that cost a bit of money. Nor do I like having to reassign an item to a tab at the end of a session because I stored it in the infinity tab.

Although I don't think it made it to it's potential, it didn't make banking any worse, tabs are optional to use, and the search makes up for the annoyances.

Item lending is okay but there are too many people coming in clan chat and asking to borrow an item, too many people posting asking to borrow an item, too many people standing in banks asking to borrow an item, and too many people following others begging to borrow an item. I wish it had been friends only, it could prevent a lot of this, and those who don't mind lending to strangers could add them to their friends list and remove when it was over. Dunno, that's probably not a great solution. I guess it will just replace those who beg for free stuff, and they were tolerable.

It's a shame you can only borrow one item at a time, and not sets. But I guess there's going to be a lot more sharing of items now compared to pre-lazysolution so it's understandable. I don't understand why degradable items like barrows wont be lendable, it should just require to be lent as 100% and you to always have enough money to repair it at the end when lending :S.
It's okay, I don't see much use for me.

Bank Update- About time! Having 22 rows of random items was annoying. Since the update its now 4 rows of stuff, and the other tabs with skill-related items.

5/5

Item Lending- Meh, I'm having mixed feelings abut this. Sure, you can lend the item until both of you log out, or for a day, but that doesn't stop the borrower from living dangerously. Minus points for 1 item at a time.

2/5.

The best part for me was to organize the bank which was very messy before.
