Dude, I love this update. F2P hardly gets anything new (I know we don't pay but w/e) and so it's exciting! The gloves looks so kewl, but they're worse than Dhide Vambs :S As for the giant roaches, they don't auto attack which bugs me (lol) so I don't think I'll ever train there. Still it was interesting and exiting, also got 1k free prayer xp from the two antique lamps!

5/5 8)

It was terrible. 1k xp doesn't help and everything in there is obvious. It just seems like an update so F2P can get a free 10k and stop complaining about not being able to make money.

whats next? the combat safety stronghold? always wear pads and a pillow protection helmet when fighting the Kalphite queen!

0/5

That would be quite amusing. From the similarities between the gloves and the fighter boots from the Security Stronghold I wouldn't be surprised if they made other strongholds to complete a "Stronghold" outfit.

It wasn't -that- bad, although I am F2P so my rating is a bit biased. 10k GP is no use that's for sure, the gloves are okay, and 1k prayer exp is a good amount for F2P. The level 83's also drop rune scimi's/sq's, which is better than Ankou drops in the Security Stronghold. However the area is multi combat, and when I went today it was absolutely crowded.

3/5 for me.

I like it in there. I get alot of great xp and thats going to be my new training space. 4/5 in my opinion only because you can only open the chest once and thats it, if you where able to get more money and equipment then it would go up to 5/5

5/5 =D>

I gona train here alot. Cockroach soldiers give the best drops in f2p (rune scim and rune sq), plus alot of other decent drops, like runes and good ores... Also, its a good place to train my range pure (they dont hit me with range even on a pure :D )

I suppose it's decent for anyone F2P but people actually paying for membership are saying "Wtf is this?". Just my opinion, but it'd be nice for Jagex to release something members only, and preferably something that would be a bit useful, whenever they released these extremely low level updates.

As it has been said before, nothing in there isn't obvious to someone who actually meets the age requirements for the game. I suppose there are gullible people out there, but if you're sheltered your entire life (let alone your RuneScape career) you won't learn some of the lessons others will.

3/5, just due to the f2p implications. (Only thing I did was get the emote. Didn't know there was much more to the place, though I will "finish" the dungeon later)

This update just seems like another way to get noobs a boost on money making, and was pointless for those who cant use 1k exp from a lamp...sure it's ok for the lvl 20s and people who complain about not getting any money....but come on...NTY.

I have to say that this is a very good idea.
10k and a great training spot will bring the f2pers, most of which are younger players.
They may learn stuff of stalkers, etc hopefully making runescape safer.

From a p2p gamers point of view it's terrible but this will satisfy any lawyers/angry parents.

People don't mention it much, so it's worth reminding them... Runescape is a business. And one thing Jagex has done, since way back in RSC, is to do everything they could to keep it honest, fair, and safe. And it costs them real money to do so. I give them kudo's for that. (Even if some of the attempts fall short.)

Like the quest they released at the same time?

I haven't gone down into the dungeon yet, but I did the first part. I'm not going to rate it until I have time to explore the dungeon.

For the Player Safety Side, I will give it a 0/5. It is all common knowledge to at least 13 and up.
For the new emote, I give it a 3/5; meaning the overall is 3/5 just for the emote. I like my new defense cape emote. :)

Roaches are one of the best monster's I've fought in a while. Drop lots of Crimson Charms in P2P, along with Rune Sq's and Scimi's. Oh, and you get the 25 - 40 law drops a lot. I made about 500k in one day from them, so I really enjoy the Stronghold.
