Just a little post out of curiousity. When did you start playing RS, and how long have you been playing? What inspired you to play?

For me its:

Jan 2005
3 Years now obviously
And at first i thought RS was so stupid and nerdy cuz its all my school friends would talk about. So then i tried it one night and now im 1 out of 2 of the most addicted and highest lvl in our little group thing.

great minds think alike eh? i noticed that on the thread in rs gen here tht dokter bob posted about good ol days, i relate to almost everything everyone posts. its kinda weird how once we were all kind of on the same page and had the same opionions about RS at the time etc. ya kno? kinda cool.

Late March 2005, possibly early April. My friend and ... I guess other friend.. played it and would sometimes talk about it. Every time I would be like "wdf, nerds much?" So one weekend I was bored on the computer and decided I'd try. I think the first thing I put in the user name field was nmr7, nothing else. It wasn't "nmr" and then it said it was unavailable, and gave suggestions. Well, it might have, I dunno. XD
During Tutorial Island I logged out and went back on later, for some reason. I don't know why I remember that. XD

When I told my friend on Monday, he asked a lot of questions that my answer was "???" to. A few days later I was at his house and he made a new account. (which is now mine :evil:

and last August it was the EC dummy) Now he's made many more accounts but I don't think his progress on all of them added compares to mine at all. He's quit now because of the updates but I don't see how the affect him in anyway in the first place. >_>

Its been a while, but I would estimate sometime in 2003 or 2004. It's tough to guess since its been so long, honestly.

I've been playing since about a year b4 rs2 came out. I ddi quit for about 1.5 years because i couldnt get rs2 to work at all on my new computer at the time....

Hard to guess but it's around five years now. What inspired me to play? Well, being bored got me into it, then i got to know it a bit better, figure out how it works and hm, it's had me hooked.

It's been long, almost 3 years. Started around easter in 2005. All I remember was doing the easter event and having no idea what was going on, that and being scammed out of full mith

I started playing rs around February of 2005..so its gettin close to the 3 year mark..I was inspired to play by a few friends of mine who played and so i decided to give it a try..

I started August 17, 2004. I admit I haven't played consistently all 3.5 yrs. I've taken a few 2-12 week breaks.

I started in early October 2004. Quite a few of the people in my class at school played it. It was very popular and all the people who played had started before me, so I was the noob in the group

I can vaguely remember reaching level 17 because that was the time I took over my best friend. He's never caught up with me

Around December 2004 about when the Christmas event was out. I played fanatically for a few months until I did all the quests for F2P and then went on random hiatuses.
