What goes on in my school

ok, the girls messed up, wanted to be cool...or something, but i don't get it. the school took their phones, thats fine and dandy but then searched them? thats not cool..shouldnt have the phones at school i agree, but the teachers have no right to go snooping around in them!

btw, "sexting" is nothing new, it was on the news here a few days ago to. i forget the story though. hell maybe it was about them lol.

With cell phones comes so many stupid problems. Not only is there this problem with nudity being shared, but there is also a problem with people cheating on tests using phones or texting during class while they should be focusing. I personally don't try to get involved in these debates, but this case is over the line. These girls sent the pictures. They should be the ones in trouble and taking responsibility for their actions (since they shouldn't have done it in the first place). [-X

I suppose that if the boys kept and/or shared the pictures they would be accessories to the fact, but that besides the point. As far as I'm concerned, cell phones have opened up a new door for pornography, cheating, and other mischievous things to do. I doubt it can be stopped now that it has started. As for me, I'll just look the other way and not even get involved in this growing "mess". :wink:

What to take is this. If you get caught with your phone: 1. Take your battery and give it to them. or 2. take your SIM card instead.

My guess is that she had the picture open when it was taken because most schools don't go through phones and I do think it's against some rule. However, if they did actually search the phone then yes I agree.

This happened at my school. Two really hot girls sent some pics to their boyfriends. Boyfriends got drunk and sent them to all their friends. I was one of those friends. Lol, I still have the pics just cause I haven't deleted them nor did I think some situtation like this one could occur. As you can assume, nothing ever happened at my school about it.

I first heard about this on the morning show a few weeks ago. My dad called me in to watch it. #-o

It's a scary thing. I don't understand why the receiver of the picture should be charged as well. I mean, any girl at my school could send me a nude picture without my consent.

Yeah I agree, unless they're talking about the fact that once the boys recieved it they didn't delete it. Then that could apply, but I do agree no one has any control of who texts them or sends them pictures.

What if they did delete it, but the school found the girl's phone, looked where she sent it, and the boys still got in trouble because they were sent the pictures, even though they did delete it or didn't send it out? Then what?

Something like this also happened at my school now that I think about it. I think that the school confiscated someone's phone and when they looked at one of the text's, they saw the kid was dealing in drugs. They then caught a whole ring of freshman involved in this drug ring. Luckily, my school doesn't like to expel people, but rather have people withdraw so it looks ok on there permanent record. Six withdrew while the other one got expelled. (At least that's what I think happened in the end).

Then I think that's pretty **** up. Idk, the situation that you've presented here is a "what if" and I don't think it would ever happen. However, if it did, I would like to see how it would hold up in court.

Agreed, that is lame. When I got the pics of the girls at my school, I started to tell everyone I knew but soon found out that everyone already knew. . .
