My sophomore chemistry teacher did something in which if students brought in can tabs she would give extra credit points per every gram of tabs. Being the person that I am got 2 friends together and bought like 6000 tabs on eBay for $20 and split it 3 ways. Ever since my class, she has put a limit to the amount of points that can possibly be earned per person. rofl
Maybe find out how much you will be able to recycle them for and if you can buy them for cheaper than what you can sell them for, have at it. Hooray for real world merching. XD
Oh man nice amount & thats good that you got Extra credit. What was she getting them for?

Ditto to what trekkie. It's kind of funny. A couple who got married in Idaho collect and recycled 400,000 cans in order to pay for their wedding. What a coincidence. It'd be awesome if you just did the collecting all by yourself. Good luck, dude.
Here's the
article on the couple if anyone is interested.
That would take SERIOUS dedication to do that.
Back on topic, i really hope you get to your target. But where are you going to store 1 million tabs and cans?. Anyway, it would be epic if you reach that target.
Now seeing as this is a topic about the enviroment. I have two links to share. One is about a husband and wife that build houses from recycled materials.
This is the link for that is here:

Then, some people in sydney australia made a boat from 12,500 bottles, and crossed the pacific

. You can find that here:

Thanks! I don't have a spot for them right now & I'm waiting to hear back from my friend who works @ a storing unit place.
