Good News! and Great News!

When my Cousin first told me about a game he plays called "Runescape". In 2002. I started playing Under my 1st ever account "Dahni17" Then in 2004 Runescape 2 came out. I decided to still only play Classic Until you know that whole "If not a member and hasent played between blah and blah ect.

SO then I was forced to make a RS2 account and play that. Which is still Dahni17.
But few months later I lost/forgot the pass to it. Then I made my main "Jade Gizmo"

for Years I have been trying to get him back! Sending in password recovery, getting turned down, trying to remember all my past pass ect.

Until Today... When they finally accepted my Password Recovery to give me back my Account!

When I logged in, it said ... " Last Logged in 1,189 Days ago " lol..

I tried replaying Classic but it said I need to be a member. SO when My Mom wakes up. I'll be able to play Classic again :mrgreen:

i thought they did a thing a couple of years ago where if you didnt play classic for 6 months they deleted the account

That doesn't necessarily mean the time between when they made it members only to when they deleted all accounts that hadn't logged on in the past 6 months was over a 6 month span. August 3rd 2005 they made it members only and then on January 12th 2006 they deleted all accounts that hadn't logged in since August 3rd. He could of logged in early morning on August 3rd before they made it members only I guess.
And they only deleted accounts once, it's not a continuous thing the 6 months deleting.

But it does say "You need a members account to login to this world" regardless of if your account can play classic or not. So you might be wasting $5.95

I can still play RSC. It's really not very good. It's good for the occasional nostalgia trip, but that's about it.

You didn't ask me, but here's proof I can play.

Glad you got your account back. I played classic a few times. It was ok. I think the new Runescape is much better and much more interesting (and not as frustrating :lol:

). I would still like to have a classic account, though. I would like to be able to play the old version every once in a while on a whim if I wanted.
