Do spelling mistakes or abbreviations annoy you?
anywhere from just misspelled words to replacing because with cuz.

I was in cammy bank and a kid starting spamming,
"Buying nife 1k"
repeatedly.
also it was in waving red letters.

reallyyyy ticked me off.

I told him I would sell him one if he spelled knife correctly.
i later got a pm from someone saying your my friend just for doing that.

XD

i think this might be my 300th post.

Yes it does. It makes my brain hurt more because I have to think twice what he is trying to say. Also, I think if everyone spelled correctly, our own spelling wouldn't go bad and it would improve instead.

It doesn't bother me too much. As long as I understand them. But sometimes I will tease people.

It depends, in a way, for me. If they are trying to use a shortened word, it's not completely bothersome. But when it gets to the point that the person can spell or is just to lazy to correct it, then it becomes personal. :P Seriously though, it would be nice to live in a world where everyone had perfectly mastered grammar and vocabulary.

I hate it a lot but what can you do. There is no way you can stop people from doing that. The best thing you can do it put them on your ignore list and turn your chat to hide, off, or friends. no other way to stop it.

I also don't like 1337 speek. It is very difficult for me to read it and understand it sometimes. I don't have a mind to master that right now. Enlish will do fine for now. :P

I'm not having any problems with shortening the somewhat larger words (for example, advertisement into ad). However the time you win by typing nife instead of knife is just pathetic. To bad we can't report for that

yes it bothers me soo.... much, when you misspell because you don't know how to spell is fine, but when it's simple like you said "nife" and people use short words because they are too lazy like when people say "2" insted of to or too.
People need to go back to school period.

It bothers me alot, but not abbreviations though. All except the "u" is good for me. But spelling mistakes, it depends if i'm in a good mood at that time or not. If i'm mad, I just teleport away or turn private/public chat off for a while.

abbreviations are perfectly fine for me, what really annoys me is bad grammer, it really makes the person look unintelligent if he/she's using bad grammer when english is their first language.
Other things like little spelling errors are perfectly reasonable since everybody makes typos, including me.
