no, they'll say "go get a bunch of sharks and go to level three stronghold of security and kill the spiders" they all have commonly know information which any level 60+ should know.

It depends how long you've been playing RS. If you're fairly new and need some insight on how to train fast, go for it. Most, if not all, the info given in the guides are common knowledge to more experienced players who have been playing for 3+ years.

Before I train a skill to a particular level, I like to do some research first. Find prices, exp, amount, time and put everything together to find the quickest most efficient way to train. That's just the way I am and its half the fun of the game. :)

PS- I agree with rev. Don't edit your stat sig to say 99 RC or 99 anything if you don't have it. It comes off as nooby, and it's not cool to the ones who actually work hard at those skills. Just a heads up.

Nope. Find it fun figuring out the best way to do things myself.

leveling guides are pretty stupid.
It's easier to find a way that you feel comfortable doing rather than being told where to train.

Actually, at yaks, with 70+ ranged, you should use Bronze Knives, They work just as well. Below that you should use Iron Knives.
