apparently i can't use Aero in W7 coz my gfx card sux but i could use it in the RC and the uhh... "RTM"...

Driver update.
Try that.
Worked for me, went from SD to HD in RS and aero games animated

bryan is right could be drivers but its hard to imagine you forgot your video drivers..
