Also should I buy a BGS, SS, or stick with a dragon scimitar? I'm currently training strength.

SS is fastest for training.
i love the bgs, and raised 2 str lvls fast with em, but i never used ss, i got d scim, it pretty good, but i looooove the BGS
Personally I used a scimitar all the way to 99 strength, It's not much slower than the SS. BGS is a no no
SS is 3k xp an hour faster, so it's your choice whether to spend or not. Either weapon works great. If you can't afford ss don't waste time to get money. And BGS or any GS is a no for actual training.
Godswords are actually slower than a scimitar. Keep the scimmy if you're on a budget, and if you can afford the SS buy it. Don't ever buy a GS for training.
