every time i try to change my display name it says url is not valid. any tips?

Same thing was happening for me, but I moved to my MacBook and got it in a couple of tries. The server can't handle all the people trying to get a new name, just hold out a day or two.

Keep refreshing the page - that's what I did; I got through after trying for about 5 minutes or so.
