my guitar broke. well, not the guitar itself, just a key part of it. the high e string broke. no biggy, but the nut broke too. gonna replace it with teflon, along with a couple other parts. sucks.

cause i don't have the money for it. and it broke while i was at guitar lessons. fail. now im stuck using my dads ancient piece of crap.
How did the nut break? Thrashing too hard?
its a 20 year old guitar, and my instructor just strummed a cord, and the top edge of it broke. it was funny, 1 right after the other.
Wow that's messed up. Prolly the last part I'd expect to break, lol. But then again if its an old guitar the nut may be ivory, which chips off & stuff.
plastic. gonna get it replaced to teflon when i have the money. less friction when bending and tuning that way. if i replaced my pickups, my guitar would be even more beastly. japan models are ftw...
compared to the newer models made, fender squier strat.
Oh I was thinking its acoustic for some reason. Man I had a Squier for a couple years, best guitar thats ever owned me.
