i just witnessed the saddest thing you've ever heard of.. i went to the store go to the register and the computers are down so the guy owns me 83 cents in change he yells to his co worker...

"i need your math skills!" , his co worker is busy. he hands me back 23 cents in change i say that's not the right change, he said "oh i don't count" i say "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9...." he laughs..
then his co worker comes over and counts the change out for me...
This guy was in his 20s..

um, yes, that is quite sad.
people are very dependent on computers these days.

i for one love math.. but in desperate times where i enter it wrong in the computer i freak out and forget basic math >.< and ive passed 3 lvls of calculus so i hate when i brain fart math away
