Funny that today was 9/11. We were talking about fire drills and lockdowns in class today, and someone randomly brought up bombs and asked if the school gets any fake bomb calls. L
Our SCHOOL DANCE was today. What has the world come to?!
A day like this is never "happy".
People make way too much of a fuss over 9/11. America wants the whole world to recognize the only time they've been bombed. It's not like it was the one of worst bombings in history.
I'm sorry but what? That was just about the most insensitive things I've ever read.
Regardless, 3000 people died, and it was a day no american will forget.
Is our friend Gerard going to his school dance, or is he gonna stay and play rs?
Doesn't mean everybody else has to remember it. There have been worse bombings all over the world, such as 7/7, Hiroshima and Nagasaki; very few people worldwide commemorate those days however.
Also, the school dance is over, I just came back.
Saying people make too much of a fuss over it is pretty insensitive.
I doubt I'll ever forget what happened on that day, and saying stuff like that offends quite a few people.
Anyone who is making fun of 9/11 and/or distespecting it is an ass hole because my uncle was in the towers that day. Luckily he was on a lower floor and got out alive unlike most
I'm not saying that I don't care at all about the people who died that day, just that historical events slowly slip into the past. It's been many years since this event, and people should move on.
Yeah, you can move on but you have no right to tell me to move on
gtfo mate
gah, you have some early dances Gerard.
You can move on, but as we've said, this is something that is very important to Americans.
Tbh, I don't know why we "mourn" so hard in Canada, not to be insensitive to Americans, but it didn't even happen to us. It's the only time we have a "moment of silence" besides Remembrance day.
